Durango Automotive Repair Supports Our Veterans!

The Veterans Relief Program is a local collaboration with VFW Post 4031 and the Durango American Legion Post 28, focused on supporting veterans and their families.

The Veterans Relief Program is an important aspect of how VFW Post 4031 assists veterans and their families that are in need.

The purpose of the Veterans relief fund is to help Veterans and their families in immediate need of monetary donations for unforeseen expenses or emergencies. Veterans helped are local and referred to us by members of the community or by reaching out to us directly.

Relief is provided by directly making a payment to the business or service a Veteran may be in debt to or by providing the necessary items the Veteran and their family need. The assistance we provide is paired with other resources and mentorship to get them back on track and all recipients are vetted to ensure the authenticity and validity of the situation.

Your donation can make a big difference in the life of a Veteran and their family, every penny donated or raised goes directly to helping a Veteran in need and donations are tax deductible. We are an all-volunteer non-profit organization, our members volunteer their time to help Veterans and their families. Be the helping hand and donate today! Veteran Car Giveaway

Durango Automotive Repair and the Veterans Relief Program will be hosting another Veteran Car Giveaway. Veterans or families of veterans will need to sign an application to be part of the drawing by March 22nd. Please come join us at the VFW Post 4031 for the veterans benefit breakfast where we will announce the recipient of the free car giveaway. 

When: April 7th, 2024 | Time: 9:00am

Where: VFW Post 4031

Complimentary breakfast to Veterans & their immediate family; $10.00 for Non-Vets

Applications can be picked up at  Durango Automotive Repair or VFW Post 4031
