A Local Auto Repair Shop with Deep Roots in Durango, CO

I am the 3rd generation owner of Durango Automotive Repair. I started sweeping the floors when I was very little and grew to love working on cars and trucks. When I was 16 I started helping my Dad here at the shop during the summer and after school. Growing up working alongside my Grandfather and Father I learned their strong family values and how to carry that over to our customers.

After being a technician for over 10 years and earning my master ASE certification I moved to Service adviser, then manger in 2012. I married my Beautiful in 2010 and we had our precious daughter on 4/15/16 we enjoy hunting together and going to the lake and in the mountains as a family. I as an owner of a local 3rd generation automotive shop I strive to take care of our customers and my community as if they were my own family.

Has been with our company since 2018. He served in the army on active duty for 10 years and is a big supporter of the Veteran community in La Plata County and active member of the VFW. When he moved to Durango, D did lots of odd jobs before landing himself in construction material sales D enjoys riding his motorcycle with his wife Judy and friends along with working around his small ranch in his spare time. D is part owner in The Golden Block Brewery in Silverton CO and on Holiday weekend you will find him there helping on the big weekends. Favorite color is Blue and Lucky number is 7

Nick joined our Team in 2018 and has 18+ years experience as an automotive technician. He holds many certifications, some including- AVI Ford 6.7 diesel, EV (electric vehicle) and hybrid systems. When he was younger, he worked for a fishing company in Alaska as an avid fisherman. Nick has two amazing kids and his wife Louise. He loves to spend his spare time Fishing & Camping with his family. We can’t forget that he’s always working on his hotrods that he builds for his Mom and “Dad”. Favorite color is Blue and Lucky number is 13.

Will joined our team in 2022. He Graduated from Automotive Tech School in 2018 where he earned his Student master ASE and then spent a year working under a master tech at a Subaru Dealer for a year. Will is currently working on his ASE master’s program to obtain his certification as an ASE master tech. He has his Certification in AVI Ford 6.7 diesel . Will competes in AutoCross in his Subaru WRX that he built himself. Favorite color is Purple and Lucky number is 3.

Alex joined our team in 2021 and attended diesel Technician school in 2020 in California before moving to Durango. Alex loves working on cars and trucks and has a vast knowledge in the Ford 7.3, 6.0, 6.4, 6.7, certified in 6.7 ford 6.7 Cummings, heavy line cat and Cummings. He is getting married this year and loves to spend time with family in the mountains, camping, and hiking. Favorite color is Blue and Lucky number is 1.
